CR 84, old CR 2, is the good shortcut to Newcomb, Tahawus, Long Lake and Tupper Lake and southern access to the High Peaks Region. DEC campground 5 miles north on US 9. Town has hiking trails in old Frontier Town. Also is the best way to Newcomb, Long Lake & Tupper Lake for northbound travellers
