Pottersville is the hamlet at the southern end of Schroon Lake in Chester, Warren County. It has a nice old fashioned town square on US 9. There are some smaller businesses there but no supermarkets. But it boast the last 24 hour gas/food until Exit 34 at the southern half of Exit 26. It also provides access to the Town of Horicon and the Hamlet of Adirondack on the east shore of Schroon Lake. The county road starting off of US 9 in the town center, provides access to Gore Mountain, Olmsteadville, Minerva and North Creek. There are a lot of campgrounds and bed and breakfast places in the area on side routes.
